Hardware, prototypes, certification, travel and licences are separate. Amounts exclude applicable taxes; tax treatment is specified in the quotation according to the transaction and customer.

Consulting, Expert Assessments and Decision Support

Q Lab Prices: Technical Expert Reports and Specifications

Expert assignments are defined by their scope, methodology, evidence and deliverables. A targeted assessment, technical audit, second opinion and full qualification are not equivalent services. Critical programmes and highly specialised assessments receive tailored quotations.

Q Lab helps define and evaluate projects before implementation. Assignments may include document review, targeted testing, feasibility analysis, threat modelling, dependency mapping, recommendations and a report clearly identifying the limits of available evidence.

Feasibility and Scoping

Feasibility, architecture, technical choices, requirements analysis and support for drafting or revising technical specifications.

Expert Assessment and Second Opinion

Reasoned technical reports, risk reviews, validation of assumptions and qualification opinions limited to the scope actually examined.

Project Support and Acceptance

Technical project-owner assistance, acceptance criteria, test plans, support during acceptance and management of outstanding issues.

A private technical assessment is not a court-appointed expert opinion, certified regulatory audit or certification issued by an accredited body. The quotation specifies the expected assurance level and available evidence.

Areas of Expertise Covered by Q Lab Prices

Cybersecurity & Trust

Threat models, Zero Trust, identity management, authentication, secret protection and system hardening.

Cryptography & Sovereign Architectures

Applied cryptography, key-management systems, HSM, NFC, protocols, secure communications and offline architectures.

Software, Hardware & Interoperability

SDKs, APIs, web and mobile applications, system integration, prototypes, test benches and multi-environment qualification.

Q Lab Prices for Cybersecurity and Sovereign Offline Systems

Q Lab designs devices and architectures that prioritise local control of secrets, reduced dependencies and operation without an Internet connection wherever technical constraints permit. Our approach combines electronics, industrial NFC, hardware security, software, communications, and classical or post-quantum cryptography.

For institutional and sensitive environments, confidentiality, resilience, traceability and qualification requirements are assessed case by case. A technical achievement or an authorisation held by a partner does not amount to a general Freemindtronic certification or Q Lab security clearance.

For background on technical standards used in relevant projects, consult the NIST post-quantum cryptography resources and OWASP mobile application security resources. These external resources are informational and do not certify Q Lab.

Public Institutions · Sensitive Sectors · Critical Infrastructure

Engineering for Government Sovereign Functions and High-Assurance Environments

Q Lab designs and adapts, against agreed specifications, solutions for protecting sensitive information, access control, authentication, secure communications and operational autonomy for public-sector organisations and their authorised partners.

Sovereignty & Local Control

Autonomous architectures, offline operation where technically feasible, secret management, dependency control and traceability of security decisions.

Secure Hardware & Systems

Trusted electronics, industrial NFC, embedded systems, authentication devices and physical and software interfaces tailored to operational constraints.

Qualification & Contractual Requirements

Risk analysis, confidentiality requirements, targeted tests, technical evidence and compliance documentation within the contracted scope. Clearances, approvals and certifications are never presumed.

Confidential quotations: pricing depends on security constraints, legal framework, testing resources, access to information and delivery obligations. No defence qualification, clearance or certification is claimed without specific evidence.

Freemindtronic Speciality · B2B · OEM

Q Lab Prices for White-Label Products and Technologies

Q Lab supports businesses, manufacturers, software vendors and integrators seeking to market solutions under their own brands while drawing on Freemindtronic’s research, design and engineering capabilities.

01 · White-Label Product

Your Brand, a Tailored Product

Functional customisation, interfaces, visual identity, documentation, integration and, depending on the project, preparation for manufacturing and commercialisation, including electronic devices and industrial NFC.

Commercial model: study and customisation fees, followed by unit pricing, minimum order quantities or supply terms where applicable.

02 · Licensed Technology

Technology Integrated into Your Solution

Contractual access to a Freemindtronic technology, SDK or interface, adapted and integrated into the partner’s product without automatic transfer of the proprietary engine.

Commercial model: engineering billed separately from licensing; usage, deployment and redistribution rights defined by contract.

03 · OEM Partnership

Co-Development and B2B Deployment

Joint architecture, product variants, integration interfaces, tests, technical documentation and industrialisation support according to agreed responsibilities.

Commercial model: non-recurring engineering fees, optional supply, licences, royalties or contractual minimums.

Two Possible Technology Paths

Without Freemindtronic Patent Integration

Custom development, open standards or authorised third-party technologies. Rights to the results and permission to market under a white label are expressly negotiated.

With Freemindtronic Technology or Patents

Integration of protected pre-existing assets. Engineering services do not grant a licence: scope, term, territory, volumes, branding, maintenance and any exclusivity require a separate agreement.

Important: applying a partner’s brand does not transfer patents, internal source code or exclusivity. Rights to trademarks, designs, deliverables, pre-existing components and improvements are defined contractually.

Q Lab Prices and Project Delivery: Verifiable Results

  1. Scoping: objectives, constraints, intellectual property and success criteria.
  2. Proposal: scope, estimate, assumptions, deliverables and commercial terms.
  3. Delivery: design, implementation and risk-appropriate testing.
  4. Acceptance: documented results, known limitations and any outstanding issues.

Intellectual Property: Explicit Separation of Rights

Commissioned Developments

The contract defines the customer’s rights to specific deliverables: use, modification, source-code access and any assignment of rights. No assignment is presumed.

Pre-Existing Freemindtronic Technologies

Patents, engines, libraries, know-how, tools and pre-existing components remain the property of their respective owners. Any licensing, redistribution, white-label or OEM exploitation requires express terms.

Integration services alone do not constitute a patent licence or authorisation to reproduce, redistribute or commercialise proprietary technology.

Frequently Asked Questions About Q Lab Prices

Does the daily rate include a patent licence?

No. Engineering and exploitation rights are separate contractual matters. If a licence is needed, it is identified in the proposal.

Do you offer fixed fees rather than daily billing?

Yes, when the scope and acceptance criteria are sufficiently defined. Fixed fees cover agreed deliverables; changes are priced separately.

Do you work with technologies not patented by Freemindtronic?

Yes. Q Lab also works on independent architectures and components, subject to third-party licences and customer rights.

Can we market a Freemindtronic product under our brand?

Yes, under an OEM or white-label agreement specifying the products, customisation, responsibilities, usage rights, volumes and commercial terms. No licence or exclusivity is implied.

Does white labelling include source code or patents?

Not automatically. Distribution and usage rights, possible access to selected deliverables and licences are expressly negotiated. Proprietary engines and patent rights remain separate.

Do you undertake projects supporting sovereign government functions?

Yes, subject to appropriate contractual, legal and security scoping. Any required clearances, classifications, approvals and certifications are checked before commitment.

Do tests constitute certification?

No, unless expressly agreed and performed by an appropriately competent body where required. Tests and reports describe their scope, evidence and limitations.

Are feasibility studies and expert reports billed separately?

Yes. They are standalone deliverables, billed on a time-and-materials or fixed-fee basis. A discount or complimentary study may be expressly included in a quotation without changing the reference rate.

Can Q Lab draft or improve technical specifications?

Yes. Q Lab assists with requirements, constraints analysis and acceptance criteria, clearly separating consulting, implementation and any independent qualification.
