HARDSECURE FEATURE

Brute Force Protection: EVIKEY® offers multiple layers of security to thwart unauthorized access attempts. Here’s how the system responds to incorrect PIN or mobile unlock attempts:

  • After 3 failed attempts (whether using PIN or mobile), EVIKEY® will lock itself for 15 minutes. During this time, LED1 (Red) and LED2 (Green) will flash alternately.
  • While locked, all actions on EVIKEY® are halted.
  • Following the 15-minute lockout, you’re allowed a single new attempt. Should you enter the correct PIN or use the authorized mobile, EVIKEY® will unlock, and the failed attempt counter is reset.
  • If the subsequent attempt is also wrong, the device locks again, but this time for 30 minutes.
  • Each consecutive lockout increases the waiting period by an additional 15 minutes.
  • After a total of 13 failed attempts, EVIKEY® becomes permanently locked. When this happens, LED1 (Red) and LED2 (Blue) will flash alternately.

Auto Lock by Fullprotect®: EVIKEY’s advanced embedded system, powered by Fullprotect® technology, continuously monitors the quality of its power source. If it detects an inadequate energy supply for the standard operation of EVIKEY ONE NFC, the device will auto-lock. This lock also engages an electrical insulation mechanism, ensuring the device’s contents are shielded from potential electrical disturbances. Normal operation will only resume once the electrical or environmental issues have been rectified. Fullprotect Technology® Embedded: EVIKEY ONE NFC is not just about data protection. It boasts an intelligent multi-protect system that oversees both electrical and environmental safety, complete with a black box recorder. This mechanism automatically detects anomalies, whether they be electrical, thermal, or other, and acts immediately. Upon detecting any irregularity, EVIKEY ONE NFC automatically isolates and locks itself, further reinforcing the security of the stored data.

Final Thoughts & Best Practices

Your EviKey NFC HSM is an advanced security tool. To ensure its longevity and maintain optimal performance:
